Proud owner of a no-shortcuts life, Brenda segued from assemblage and collage artist into fashion jewelry designer. Her company, Brenda Schweder Jewelry, combines ‘artistic inclinations' with a sense of style and trend.

A love of the fashion world and a voracious appetite for the newest in clothing and jewelry also landed her a gig writing BeadStyle magazine's Fashion Forecast (co-author, Sandra Keiser). Together, they answer the “what's hot” in color, style, theme and silhouette from season to fickle season.

Prior to her artist life, Brenda held many-hatted marketing positions in the building and shopping center industries. She spent her days juggling responsibilities as varied as writing marketing plans and keeping budgets to creating Christmas themes and putting Santa in his chair for the season.

Wife, mom, daughter, friend, artist, volunteer and professional, Brenda lives and works in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with her husband, Jim, her two sons and two cats.
